How much does EV charger installation cost in Toronto?
Installation only ranges from $800–$1,800. If you need us to supply the charger as well, add $400–$900 for the unit depending on model. Panel upgrades (100A to 200A) add $1,500–$3,000. We always provide exact upfront quotes — no surprises.
Do you supply the EV charger or just install it?
Both. We carry ChargePoint, JuiceBox, Grizzl-E, Flo, Eaton, Siemens, and Tesla Wall Connector. We recommend the right model for your EV and home, supply it, and install it in one visit. Or if you already own a charger, we install it — no problem at all.
Which charger brand should I get for my EV?
It depends on your EV and how many miles you typically drive daily. Tesla owners often prefer the Tesla Wall Connector. For non-Tesla EVs, we typically recommend JuiceBox 40 or Grizzl-E for the best balance of price, features, and reliability. We'll give you a personalized recommendation during your free quote — no obligation.
How long does installation take?
A standard Level 2 installation takes 2–4 hours. Panel upgrades require a full day. We work efficiently and leave your home clean.
Do I need a permit in Ontario?
Yes — a 240V dedicated circuit requires an electrical permit and ESA inspection in Ontario. We handle all of this on your behalf, included in our service fee. Zero paperwork for you.
Are there rebates available for EV charger installation?
Yes. Check with your utility for home charging rebates. Some Ontario utilities offer up to $500 back. We provide all documentation needed for rebate applications after your installation.
Will my electrical panel handle an EV charger?
Most post-2000 homes with a 200A panel are fine. Older homes with 100A panels may need an upgrade. Our electrician assesses your panel as part of every free quote.
Can you install an outdoor or detached garage charger?
Yes. We install weather-rated NEMA 3R/4 enclosures with protected conduit for Canadian winters. We also supply outdoor-rated charger models.
Do you service condos?
Yes, with board approval. Once approved, we handle the full installation including metering. We can help guide you through the condo approval process too.
